Thunder & Lightening

Do you have a pet that gets scared and acts strangely during a thunder storm?

Animals can sense feel all kinds of things that humans cannot; this includes static electricity. During a thunder storm, your pet may just be feeling very uncomfortable because of the static they may be feeling.

Try rubbing their fur with a dryer sheet--the kind used for taking static out of your clothes. This can eliminate the static they are feeling and make them happy campers.

However, some animals just get freaked out when they hear loud noises: thunder, fireworks, etc. My dog would go hide in a bed or closet when she heard these things. For this problem, a dryer sheet will not help. Consult your vet about they would recommend for your pet in this situation.
